My name is April Martínez, DDS, MS. I’m a board-eligible periodontist based in San Diego, CA, with advanced training in implant therapy, mucogingival surgery, and regenerative periodontal care.
My approach combines digital treatment planning, a wide array of biomaterials for hard and soft tissue regeneration, and a strong emphasis on communication across specialties to deliver tailored, evidence-based care.
My research and publications have explored preventive care, oral-systemic health connections, and the underlying pathophysiology of periodontal disease—reflecting my commitment to understanding both the biology and lived experiences of my patients.
